If you read my last post about town of the best holidays we had, one in Newquay and the others to Conkers Campsite, you know that Molly and Tilly had the best time ever. Unfortunately, these happy memories were short-lived. On returning from Newquay, we found a lump on Molly’s side about the size of a ping pong ball. It appeared suddenly, so a visit to the vets seemed urgent. A number. Of tests and a MRI scan sadly revealed it to be cancerous. On a positive note, the tumour was not attached to any vital organs, so hopefully, the operation should not have been to complicated. The operation went well, and everything was looking hopeful, but at approximately 2.00am, we received a call from the vets to say Molly had died due to a blood clot. She died on 18th August 2009, aged 3 years and 10 months, leaving Tilly alone.

A new learning curve for all of us as Tilly had never been alone.😢
